We are explorers and adventurers. Therefore, our documentary department is devoted to telling stories that show the world from the personal point of view of the people within it. We make films that affect the audience because they give us the opportunity to be part of somebody’s fate and their examination with it. We are always looking for stories, films and filmmakers all around the world that are distinguished by their personal and authentic position. For example with our acclaimed creative documentary BONNE NUIT PAPA, that tells „the deeply moving search of a strong woman for the story of her father and her own roots“ (Filmbewertungsstelle Wiesbaden).
We work closely with broadcasters such as NDR, Arte or SWR, film funds like Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig Holstein and Kuratorium junger deutscher Film and creative minds from all around the world like Volker Koepp or Rithy Panh. We establish creative space through economic stability and a reliable production, for us, our projects and our partners.
